City And Colour

 Dallas Green is a singer and guitarist for the hardcore band called Alexisonfire, but most people know him by his recording alias, City and Colour. He's a Canadian native singer/songwriter who has won lots of Juno Awards throughout his relatively short career. His specialty music is melodic folk and accompanied often by many of Canada's indie rock performers, like Spencer Burton of Attack in Black. 2009 was a great year for City and Colour. Not only was he nominated for Artist of the Year, he won a Juno for being the Songwriter of the Year. His songs "Sleeping Sickness," "Waiting," and "The Girl" were what convinced the decision-makers to honor him with the award. He toured America for the first time in 2008 and he continues to tour today.
