George Thorogood & The Destroyers

George Thorogood is timeless. When this former minor league baseball player first took to the stage with his flaming guitar licks and trademark blues growl, he seems like he could have crawled out of a Chicago Blues joint or a Louisiana Chicken Shack. He still sounds that way today and with his band, The Destroyers. They storm the country, rocking the house and bringing feel-good rhythm and blues everywhere they go. They're coming to where you live, so you want to buy your tickets from ConcertKing as soon as you can.

George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers (as they are also known) first hit the national stage with a hard rocking version of Hank Williams' Move It on Over. Other hits followed, including One Scotch, One Bourbon, One Beer and Who Do You Love, but it all went huge with the release of Bad to the Bone. The hit song was used in the movie Christine and its video (featuring the song's composer, Bo Diddley) was put in heavy rotation on MTV. Bad to the Bone spent nearly a full year on the Rock and Roll charts. George's backing band, The Destroyers, have kept roughly the same personnel for thirty years and are known as one of the tightest, hardest rocking blues bands around.

George Thorogood and the Destroyers' latest album The Dirty Dozen mixes new studio cuts with some classic out-of-print tracks. You'll want to see this classic blues/rock band with its mix of legendary blues and rock tracks that will make you smile and compel you to dance. Use ConcertKing to order your tickets while you still have a chance, because when word gets out that George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers are coming to town, those tickets will go quickly. See you at the show.
