Peter Frampton
In the movie, Wayne's World, Wayne Campbell (Mike Myers) makes the observation that everyone owned a copy of Frampton Comes Alive; if you lived in the suburbs, you were issued one. That statement sort of states the impact that rock guitar hero Peter Frampton had on the world back in the 1970s. The fact that a live album was what broke through for this former guitarist for Humble Pie is a strong indicator of how great he is in concert. Rock superman Peter Frampton is playing in concert, so get your tickets from ConcertKing right away.

Starting from humble beginnings with The Herd in his native England, Frampton became known as one of the top guitar wizards around, causing him to be tapped by Steve Marriot for Humble Pie. He became one of the most requested session musicians of the time, playing sessions with Harry Nilsson, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Beatle George Harrison on the legendary, All Things Must Pass, album. He briefly followed Humble Pie with a band called Frampton's Camel, and then went solo in 1974. With the release of Frampton Comes Alive, he became a superstar, with huge hits in "Baby I Love Your Way" and "Do You Feel Like We Do." With superstardom, he was offered one of the leads in Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band with the Bee Gees.
Frampton hasn't gone away, recently showing his sense of humor by appearing on episodes of The Simpsons, Family Guy, and The Drew Carey Show. His touring show is a thing of legend with the great guitar playing of this master. Come see Peter Frampton and get your tickets from ConcertKing.
